Caesar Salad, generally eaten at restaurants, can be made at home. It isn’t named after a Roman Emperor. An Italian chef named Caesar Cardini invented it at his restaurant in Tijuana, Mexico in the 1920s. There are many ceasar salad recipes and here is one of the many and tasty ones.
* 1/2 cup of vegetable oil
* 1 raw egg
* 2 tbsp. of lemon juice
* 2 tsp. minced garlic
* 1 cup of low-fat cheese such as cheddar, goat cheese or blue cheese
* A large bowl of green lettuce and croutons
Step 1: Mix together the oil and egg with fork in a bowl,
Step 2: Add in 2 tablespoons of lemon juice. Then mix it with the oil and egg,
Step 3: Add in cheese and salt/pepper,
Step 4: Add in 2 tablespoons of minced garlic, a large bowl of teared green lettuce and croutons.
Step 5: Mix all of them. Now, our tasty salad is ready to serve. There are lots of additional ingredients such as bread cubes, chicken or shrimp, to add ceasar salad recipes for turning them into full meals. Make sure that your add-on’s are in moderation. Thus, you can keep your salad still healthy and delicious.
