The European Southern Observatory (ESO) is expected to make an unprecedented announcement regarding the alien world considered as Earth’s twin
Earlier this month rumors about a fascinating new planet, dubbed ‘second Earth’ flooded the internet
The newly spotted planet located in out cosmic neighborhood is believed to have the IDEAL conditions to support life as we know it.
Today, a month after the discovery was made, the European Southern Observatory (ESO) is expected to make an unprecedented announcement regarding the alien world considered as Earth’s twin.
According to reports, the planet orbits out nearest star Proxima Centauri and has a similar size like Earth.
Interestingly, researchers believe the planet is located at the right distance from its star and thus is able to support liquid water on its surface.
Earlier this month, unofficial reports surfaced suggesting scientists have found an unprecedented planet which they believe is even capable of sustaining life as we know it.
Experts believe this planet orbits its star at a favorable distance and as such, could host alien life.
A few weeks ago, when reports about the planet surfaced around the website, ESO Spokesman Richard Hook remained speculative and refused to acknowledge or deny the discovery.
